Before You Begin

Welcome to Murray River Council's online grant application service, powered by SmartyGrants.

If this is your first time using SmartyGrants, click Start a Submission and then Register Here.

Completing Your Application

  • Use the Form Navigation panel to move between sections.
  • Save your work regularly.
  • To continue later, click Save and Close.

Draft and submitted applications can be downloaded as a PDF from My Submissions or the Review and Submit page.

Submitting Your Application

Before submitting, complete all required fields and resolve any validation errors.

Once submitted:

  • Applications cannot be edited or updated.
  • A confirmation page and email will be issued.

If you do not receive a confirmation page or email, your application has not been submitted.

Supporting Documents

Supporting documents may be required.

  • Maximum file size: 25MB
  • Recommended file size: 5MB or less

Allow each file to upload fully before adding another attachment.

Collaboration

Multiple users can collaborate on an application if:

  1. A SmartyFile Organisation has been created; and
  2. Only one person edits the application at a time.

Session Timeout

For security reasons, sessions expire after 20 minutes of inactivity.

You will receive a warning 90 seconds before expiry and will have the option to extend your session. While work is automatically saved, applicants are encouraged to save regularly.
